About
About Forge Studio: A Web and Software Studio in Windhoek
We build websites, AI automation and custom business systems for Namibian companies. When you get in touch, you talk directly to our CEO, not a sales team.
Who we are
Forge Studio, also known as Forge Software Studio, is a web design and software studio based in Windhoek, Namibia. We do three things: we design and build websites for Namibian businesses, we set up AI automation that takes repetitive work off a team, and we build custom business systems such as dashboards and client portals.
Our clients so far include a furniture and steel workshop on the coast, a family transport company in Walvis Bay, and a water purification company with branches in Windhoek and Walvis Bay. Very different businesses, and very different websites, every one of them live today.
A note on the name: there are a few studios around the world called Forge Studio. This one is the web and software studio in Windhoek, at forge-software.studio.
Who you'll be talking to
When you message or email Forge Studio, it goes straight to our CEO. There's no sales team to get past and no account manager passing messages along, so nothing you explain gets lost in translation.
Our CEO leads every project personally, from the first conversation through design, build and launch, and stays your point of contact after the site or system is live. You won't be handed over halfway through to someone you've never spoken to.
Why Forge exists
Forge Studio was set up in Windhoek to give Namibian businesses the standard of website and software work they would otherwise look abroad for, built locally, by people they can reach directly.
Put simply, we think many Namibian businesses deserve something they don't always get: a website that looks as good as the work they actually do, that loads properly on the phones their customers carry, and that makes it effortless to get in touch. Too many good businesses are represented online by something slow, generic or out of date, and lose work to competitors who simply look more credible.
How we work
- Proof, not promises. Every project in our portfolio links to a live site you can open on your own phone right now. We'd rather you judge the work than take our word for it.
- A direct line. WhatsApp, email or a phone call, straight to us. You'll never be routed through a ticket system to reach the people doing the work.
- No two sites alike. A transport company, a furniture workshop and a water brand should not look the same online, and ours don't. Each design starts from the business, not a template.
- Built by hand. This site is written in plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript, with no page builder or plugin stack underneath. That's part of why it loads fast, and it's the level of care we bring to how things are put together.
Worth thinking about before you get in touch
You don't need a brief or a budget spreadsheet to start a conversation. But a few minutes on these questions makes the first one far more useful:
- Who are your customers, and how do they find you today? Word of mouth, Google, Facebook, walk-ins, tenders?
- What should happen after someone visits? A WhatsApp message, a quote request, an order, a booking?
- What do you already have? A logo, photos of your work, a domain name, an old website, text you're happy with.
- Is there a date that matters? A launch, a season, a trade show or the end of a financial year.
Where we work
We're based in Windhoek, and we work with businesses throughout Namibia, including Walvis Bay and Swakopmund on the coast. Lombard International in Walvis Bay and Go4Wood on the coast are among the businesses we've built for. A project can run over WhatsApp, email and calls wherever you are, so being in a different town from us is rarely a problem.
