Case study ยท Water purification & delivery

Minaqua: A Brand Website for a Namibian Water Purification Company

Minaqua purifies, bottles and delivers drinking water to homes, offices and industry from two branches, in Windhoek and Walvis Bay. When the product is purity, the website has to feel as clean and precise as the water does.

The client

Minaqua is a Namibian water purification and delivery company. It supplies purified water in formats from small single bottles to 20-litre cooler refills, along with dispensers for receptions and break rooms, and delivers from two branches: a warehouse in Windhoek and a coastal branch in Walvis Bay. It serves more than a thousand clients across the country, from households to offices, events and industrial sites.

What the site needed to do

Water is a product people judge on trust. A customer can't see the filtration process or test the batch, so they choose a supplier on whether it looks clean, professional and dependable, and on whether ordering is easy. A thin brochure site with a phone number would undersell a company running a controlled process from source to doorstep.

Minaqua also sells to very different customers. A family ordering a few bottles a week, an office manager keeping a cooler topped up and an event organiser buying in bulk all need different information, and the site had to serve each of them without becoming cluttered.

So the site needed to show the whole range, from single bottles to cooler refills and dispensers; make a purification process customers never see easy to follow; help people work out how much to order; and keep both branches and every way of getting in touch, by phone, WhatsApp or email, within reach on a phone.

What we built

A look that says "pure"

The site is deep blue and glassy, with flowing water imagery, frosted panels and crisp white type, and it opens on a single confident line: "Pure water. Perfected." Directly underneath, a row of facts does the reassuring: two branches, over a thousand clients, a range of product options and on-time delivery.

The process, made visible

Because customers can't watch the water being treated, the site walks them through it: an eight-step story from cloud and rain through collection, filtration, purification, testing and bottling to delivery. A dashboard-style section presents purity, pH balance and filtration status the way a quality team would think about them.

Tools that help people order the right amount

A hydration calculator asks what the water is for (home, office, event or industrial) and how many people, then suggests a weekly order, such as three 20-litre bottles a week for twenty-four people. An order case list shows exactly how many units come in each pack size, so an email order can be specific first time.

Two branches, one tap away

Both branches are shown with links straight into Google Maps, alongside phone numbers, email and WhatsApp. On a desktop screen, a small dock of WhatsApp, phone and email shortcuts sits beside the headline, so the route to an order is visible before anyone scrolls.

Planning something similar?

If you sell a product people buy repeatedly, such as water, gas, food, cleaning supplies or office consumables, your website can do more than describe it. Calculators, order lists and clear delivery information turn a brochure into a tool customers come back to. Our page on website design in Windhoek covers the foundations, and custom business systems covers what happens when ordering outgrows email.
